This year's Banks Bowl will see 2016 Winners Chester le Street take on Whitburn at home with 2016 Runners Up Tynemouth, receiving a BYE in the first round before playing Seaham Harbour or Sunderland in the second round.

The following teams have a BYE in the first round: Brandon, Hetton Lyons, Benwell Hill, Stockton, Boldon, Tynemouth, Blaydon, Sacriston and Mainsforth
