Banks Cup Final - Friday Night

Burnmoor will play hosts to South Shields in Friday nights North East Premier League Banks Cup Final at the Village Cricket Ground.

Burmmoor outgunned Washington by 9 wickets to progress chasing just 65 to win in a 10 over aside match which was reduced due to the weather, whereas South Shields edged home by 9 runs against Newcastle at Jesmond, South Shields posted 111/8 from their 15 overs with Newcastle finishing on 102/8 from 15.

Play will get underway at 6pm tonight at Burnmoor with Alan Clark and Paul Haley official umpires for the game with Jack Cummersdale and Oliver Blevins-Clarke scoring for South Shields and Burnmoor.

Banks Cup matches washed out for the 2nd week North East Premier League 3rd XI Banks Cup semi-final matches have been washed out for the second week running. Last Thursday the Newcastle v South Shields match was abandoned and last night the Washington v Burnmoor match was also abandoned.
