NEPL Club progress in ECB Indoor Championship

Congratulations to North East Premier League Club South Shields who progressed in the ECB Indoor Championship against Benwell Hill.

This morning saw the North East Final of the indoor National between North East Premier League club's South Shields and Benwell Hill. The final was played at the indoor school at the Emirates Riverside.

Benwell Hill won the toss and elected to bat and scored an impressive 156/4 from their 12 overs and in reply South Shields passed the score for the loss of 4 wickets with a couple of balls to spare 159/4.

South Shields now go on to play other Northern regions at Derby for a place in the semi finals a fortnight today and we wish them the best of luck.

ECB National Club Championship Draw Released The draw for the 2017 ECB National Club Championship has been made with five North East Premier League Clubs competing in this year's competition.
