Opening Week of the Season Postponed

Please read the statement below regarding the postponement of next Saturday's Fixtures.

The League Management Committee has been asked by a member club to look at the possibility of postponing all matches scheduled for Saturday 14 April because of the lack of opportunity for essential preparation work resulting from recent and sustained snow and rain.

After consulting with all clubs and the two Cricket Boards it is obvious that there is overwhelming support for this proposal.

The LMC has therefore decided to postpone all fixtures scheduled for the 14 April. An alternative date will be discussed and a decision on this will be made as soon as
possible.

Midweek League Fixtures Postponed next week Wednesday night’s scheduled Midweek League games have been postponed due to the weather and will now be played on Wednesday 15th August.

Umpires Preview 2018 As I write my annual report, the rain continues to fall as it has solidly since early Friday morning and with the very wet Winter, this could cause some concern with the season due to start in 7 days time.
