MCC Law Changes Sessions

By NEPL Editor

Ahead of the 2018 season both Northumberland and Durham Association of Cricket Officials will be hosting MCC Law changes sessions for officials and clubs.

As you will be aware the MCC issued new Laws of Cricket to operate from October 2017, and to make all aware Northumberland and Durham Association of Cricket Officials are hosting the following sessions below.

All NEPL matches in the 2018 season will be played under the new Laws of Cricket, subject to a small number of exceptions. These exceptions will be set out in the match play rules for our various competitions that will be included in the handbook. In addition Gordon Halliday will be e mailing all Clubs with a short note explaining where we will not be adopting the new Laws.

It is clearly vitally important that all our umpires, scorers and players (particularly captains) are knowledgeable of the new Laws of Cricket. The ACOs are hoping that these will be attended not just by umpires but also Club scorers and players/captains.

Details of the events are as follows.
