North East Premier League Play Off Confirmed

Following the conclusion of yesterday's League programme across the North East Premier League, Durham Cricket League and Northumberland & Tyneside Senior League we can now confirm that.....

a League Play Off will take place in order for a place in the North East Premier League Division 1 for the 2018 season.

Castle Eden were winners of the Durham Cricket League and Swalwell winners of the Northumberland & Tyneside Senior League with both clubs meeting the North East Premier League criteria.

The Play Off will take place next Saturday (16th September) at 12 noon and will be played under Banks Salver regulations, 45 overs aside, being held at Ropery Lane home of Chester le Street Cricket Club.

If the match was postponed due to the weather then the game will take place the following day, also at Ropery Lane.

North East Premier League Umpires (Alan Clark and Tony Shields) will officiate the game and we wish the best of luck to both teams.
