Ball Orders

A further partial delivery of orange Special Crown balls has been received. Clubs awaiting these should contact Keith Robson to arrange collection. The delay in our order has been caused by a consignment of balls from Pakistan to Dukes going missing.

Pitch, Outfield and Fair Play Marks

These are now being recorded and monitored on a weekly basis and reported to each meeting of the League Management Committee. Issues will be taken up with Clubs as they arise so that standards can be maintained/improved.

Scorers

At the LMC meeting last night I was asked to remind Clubs about Generic Rule 3 on page 90 of the NEPL handbook, that states that if a team does not have a scorer, one of the players will score and not play in the match. The LMC has asked umpires to enforce this strictly in future.
