Another season has long since finished, and apart from some of us standing in BUCS, Durham Cricket Board and Newcastle Cricket Centre indoor fixtures, coats are hung up and gear washed and stored away with only memories from last season to keep us company

On Friday night we held our annual Dinner and Presentation Evening at the Centre for Life in Newcastle - over 100 guests enjoyed dinner, team and individual presentations and were entertained by Impressionist and comedian Kevin Connolly with Phil Hourigan

On Tuesday night, Chester le Street Cricket Club hosted the annual North East Premier League Junior awards evening to celebrate cricket achievement of junior cricketers in the North East Premier League.

This year's Player of the Season and Umpires of the Season Nominations are below ahead of next Friday's Annual Awards Evening.

This year's NEPL Junior Presentation Evening will be held at Chester-Le-Street CC on Tuesday 25th October at 7pm.

The Durham Branch of the Association of Cricket Officials will be running a Free Introductory Course for individuals interested in becoming a Cricket Umpire.

Congratulations to South Northumberland who were crowned Royal London Club Champions after a 75 run victory over Swardeston CC today at Northamptonshire CCC.

Burnopfield, winners of the Durham Cricket League, have met the League and Ground Criteria for entry into the North East Premier League for the 2017 season.

Well that marks the end of another North East Premier League Season.
