INTRODUCTION TO CRICKET UMPIRING COURSES

The Durham Branch of the Association of Cricket Officials are running two short course for individuals interested in becoming a Cricket Umpire.

The courses which are free will be held on Sunday 18 September and Sunday 6 November both at Emirates Durham ICG at the Riverside Chester le Street running from 10am - 1pm.
The sessions will provide a quick overview of an Umpires role in the game and are targeted at individuals and ex-players interested in learning, understanding and applying the Laws of Cricket and hopefully becoming future Umpires at any level of the game they choose.
Should you find after attending that Umpiring is for you a qualification course Level 1 Umpiring is available which commences early January 2017.
